The 12th season of Australia’s Big Bash League (BBL) is set to begin on Tuesday, December 13, 2022. In the league stage, each team will play every other team twice in a double round-robin format. The top five teams at the end of the league stage will advance to the playoffs.

The SA20 is a new T20 cricket league that will be held in South Africa. The league is set to start on 10 January 2023 and will consist of 33 matches. Six teams will compete in the league, and the inaugural SA20 winner will be decided at the end of the season.
On Saturday, BCCI announced former India cricketer Chetan Sharma, who was the head of the BCCI selection committee for the men’s cricket team from December 2020 till late last year, will continue as the chief selector.
With the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) also deciding to make a 20-player shortlist, the Indian cricketing spectrum is busy predicting who these players would be.
