The Board for Veteran Cricket in India (BVCI) has organized a new T20 cricket tournament called the KhiladiX Legends Cricket Trophy. The tournament will take place at the VVIP Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Ghaziabad from March 22-30, 2023.
The aim of the tournament is to provide a platform for former cricketers to showcase their skills and entertain cricket fans worldwide.The tournament’s primary sponsor is KhiladiX, promising to deliver an unforgettable experience for cricket fans. The competition will feature some of the most exciting cricketing action as the legends of the game take to the field once again.
The inaugural match of the KhiladiX Legends Cricket Trophy will be played between Chandigarh Champs and Guwahati Avengers. Both teams will be led by the indestructible brothers Irfan Pathan and Yusuf Pathan.Chandigarh Champs will be captained by Irfan Pathan, who has found a way to work with his reduced pace. His left-arm angle and variations are still capable of flummoxing the best of batters. The team also boasts of renowned players such as Tillakaratne Dilshan and Ross Taylor.On the other hand, Guwahati Avengers are led by Yusuf Pathan, who has been in sensational form in several veteran competitions recently.
