Squads For The LCT League – An Inisght Into Squads & Team Strengths

The Legends Cricket Trophy, a new tournament featuring retired cricket players, is set to begin on March 22nd. This inaugural edition will see six teams competing against each other over a span of 10 days.

The tournament is being organized by the Legends Cricket League, which was founded by former Indian cricketer Madan Lal. The league aims to provide a platform for retired players to showcase their skills and give fans a chance to watch their favourite players in action once again.

The six teams participating in the tournament are named after legendary cricketers, such as Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Sachin Tendulkar, Imran Khan, Wasim Akram, and Brian Lara. Each team will consist of 11 players, including at least four international players and one woman player. The teams will be led by former Indian cricketers, including Dilip Vengsarkar, Syed Kirmani, Sandeep Patil, Ajay Jadeja, and Venkatesh Prasad.

The teams have selected their players through an auction process. Some of the notable players participating in the tournament include Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, Zaheer Khan, and Brett Lee. The tournament will also feature women players such as Mithali Raj, Jhulan Goswami, and Lisa Sthalekar.

The matches will be played in a round-robin format, with each team playing five matches. The top four teams will qualify for the semi-finals, with the final to be held on April 1st.

The Legends Cricket Trophy has already generated a lot of excitement among cricket fans, who are eagerly waiting to see their favorite players back in action. It will be interesting to see how the tournament unfolds and which team comes out on top.
